Ensure Offshore Asset Safety and Reliability with RTUT

/ April 1, 2024

Our Lead Project Engineer Alex Mackie was deployed to Myanmar recently to install a temporary Real-Time Ultrasonic (RTUT) Wall Thickness Monitoring System on a client's offshore asset. The primary objective of this project was to continuously monitor the wall thickness of two critical flowlines in real-time to determine erosion rates. Initially planned for two months, the campaign was later extended to three months as the client saw the value in the real time data.

This successful monitoring campaign provided valuable insights into the structural integrity of the flowlines, ensuring safety and reliability of the asset.
